An Ercol classic, well-made and structurally sound that will last a lifetime. Part of the Windsor Range, the grandfather tub chair has seat and back cushions, a tall bow back, solid wood seat and generous curved arms.
The 317 armchair is a standard height seat, with a tall upright back. Sit down and feel supported. Want to put your feet up? Check out the 205 FOOTSTOOL.
Wood - desirable blonde in colour, made of English beech with an elm seat. Finished with a natural matt oil.
Seat - oyster shaped solid elm.
Cushion Covers - hand made to order. High quality material, hand-dyed then expertly made. All covers are removable with a zip opening.
Fabric - densely woven pure WOOL, we use vintage blankets as fabric. Natural and sustainable with very little environmental impact. Wool is inherently flame resistant and offers a greater level of fire safety than other fibres.
Wash Care - machine washable, on a wool wash at 30 degrees.
Cushion Foam - new foam pads, all our foam conforms to fire regulations.
Colours - rich, deep colours dyed by hand. Some are a solid block colour, others have a subtle colour variation, a mottled effect. As we hand-dye vintage material, each piece is unique. Please note due to the hand dyed process, there may be some slight variations in the colour. The colour on your screen may vary slightly.
Dimensions - 74cm wide x 79cm length x 94cm high. Seat height 32cm, width - 53cm, depth 52cm (without cushions).
Period - produced from 1955 - 1995.
