"We met Emily at Womad Jul24 and were bowled over by her passion for restoring mid century furniture. We fell in love with the Ercol chairs but were mid build of an extension and not ready to choose furniture. Roll forward a couple of months and we're back on the Fields website looking for ideas. We saw the Ercol 355 couch / day bed in the Indigo Shibori and knew it would be perfect, we just needed chairs to go with it. Emily was great helping us look at styles, sizing and colours, always quick to email with photos and advice. We decided on the Ercol 335 chairs in a co-ordinating colour and, completely hooked also ordered 2 of the 749 chairs for the lounge. Everything was delivered in time for Christmas and has been a massive hit with all the family, including the cats. The quality and comfort of all chairs is exceptional, we are extremely pleased and would not hesitate to recommend."

"We have now had our sofa for a few weeks and we are absolutely delighted with it.  It was some thing of a 'step of faith' as we hadn't seen or sat on the model we ordered but we were in good hand and the result has exceeded our expectations.  So, if you would like to put a review on your website, here it is:When we attended the Purbeck Folk Festival this summer, we certainly didn't expect to be ordering a refurbished Ercol sofa!  However, a few weeks later we were the proud owners of this lovely 2 seater.  The restoration work is beautifully done, the dyed woolen cushion covers are exactly the colour requested, as is the firmness of the cushions.  We love it! Emily was excellent in her communication and personal service in addition to being an excellent furniture restorer."

"Life goals... I've just fulfilled another! When we used to visit my godmother's house, in the 1950s and 1960s, I would eagerly read her Good Housekeeping magazine, even as a small child, poring over the fashions, the hairstyles and the furnishings. I particularly loved Ercol furniture, and would search the magazine each month for the adverts, and for any home styling articles that featured it.Well, now I own my very own piece of vintage Ercol.
