A classic Ercol design, well-made and structurally sound that will last a lifetime. Part of the Windsor Range, this style has seat and back cushions, round spinal back, sold seat and classic curved arms. Ercol rockers are designed to be very sturdy.
Wood - the sold seat is made of English elm, all other components are English beech. A desirable blonde colour, with an oil or wax finish.
Cushion Covers - hand made to order. High quality material, hand-dyed then expertly made. All covers are removable with a zip opening. Add an extra two-tone set for £275 HERE, a plain set for £150 HERE.
Fabric - densely woven pure WOOL, we use vintage blankets as fabric. Natural and sustainable with very little environmental impact. Wool is inherently flame resistant and offers a greater level of fire safety than other fibres.
Wash Care - machine washable, on a wool wash at 30 degrees.
Cushion Foam - new foam pads, all our foam conforms to fire regulations.
Colour - rich, deep colours dyed by hand. Some are a solid block colour, others have a subtle colour variation, a mottled effect. As we hand-dye vintage material, each piece is unique. Dying vintage wool blankets, creates beautiful unique and natural variations in colour, this truly make every piece a one of kind. Colours may vary and look different on a digital screen.

Period - introduced in the late 1960's and popular in the 1970's.
Origin - designed and made at Ercol, High Wycombe U.K
Restored - we restore (the wood) and make (the covers) each piece to order, in our studios. Timeframe is currently around 8-10 weeks.
