Well-made and structurally sound, it will last a lifetime. Part of the Windsor Range, this style complements the 203 ARMCHAIR (chairs not included). The frame is straight sided with convex ends. Lay back, put your feet up, relax and unwind!
Upholstered using Melin Tregwynt 'Vintage Star' Welsh tapestry fabric. The warmth and breathability of wool coupled with a vibrant reversible design makes this pattern a striking addition to any room. We've recently begun working with this beautiful and soft Welsh fabric, chosen for its character and charm. While it hasn’t yet undergone formal rub testing, it's a wonderful option for domestic use. Due to its delicate nature, we don't recommend it for commercial settings where heavy wear is expected.
Wood - English beech with a natural oil or wax finish.
Webbing - newly strung with vintage (unused) webbing. We use the traditional Ercol loop and peg method, no staples.
Cushion Covers - hand made to order. Expertly made, by us in our studio in South West London. All covers are removable with a zip opening. Add an extra set for £275 HERE.
Fabric - the design is Vintage Star, woven in Pembrokeshire at Melin Tregwynt. High quality pure WOOL, natural and sustainable with very little environmental impact. Wool is inherently flame resistant and offers a greater level of fire safety than other fibres.
Wash Care - machine washable, on a wool wash at 30 degrees.
Cushion Foam - new foam pads, all our foam conforms to fire regulations.
Colours - rich, deep traditional colours. Please select either Summer or Autumn. If you would like to use both sides of the design, please add a note to your order.
Dimensions - height 23cm, length 70cm, width 51cm (not including cushion)
Period - produced from 1956 - 1985.
Origin - designed and made at Ercol, High Wycombe U.K
Restored - we restore (the wood) and make (the covers) each piece to order, in our studios. Timeframe is currently around 8-10 weeks.
