Melin Tregwynt - Vintage Star - Welsh Tapestry- Ercol 305 Tub Chair

Upholstered using Melin Tregwynt 'Vintage Star' Welsh tapestry fabric. The warmth and breathability of wool coupled with a vibrant reversible design makes this pattern a striking addition to any room. We've recently begun working with this beautiful and soft Welsh fabric, chosen for its character and charm. While it hasn’t yet undergone formal rub testing, it's a wonderful option for domestic use. Due to its delicate nature, we don't recommend it for commercial settings where heavy wear is expected.

This style has seat and back cushions, round spinal back, solid wooden seat and classic curved arms. The 305 tub chair is perfectly proportioned and comfortably compact. It works well with the 205 FOOTSTOOL.

Wood - desirable blonde colour, made of English beech with an oil finish.

Seat - oyster shaped solid Elm.

Cushion Covers - hand made to order. High quality material expertly made. All covers are removable with a zip opening. Add an extra set for £150. 

Fabric - densely woven pure WOOL, we use vintage blankets as fabric. Natural and sustainable with very little environmental impact. Wool is inherently flame resistant and offers a greater level of fire safety than other fibres. 

Wash Care - machine washable, on a wool wash at 30 degrees. 

Cushion Foam - new foam pads, all our foam conforms to fire regulations.

Dimensions - length 69cm, width 70cm, height 82cm, seat depth 47cm.

Period - first introduced in the late 1960's and popular in the 1970's.

Origin - designed and made at Ercol, High Wycombe U.K.
