The Studio Couch is a design classic, that will add class and style to any home. This style has seat and back cushions, a solid wood back, rounded spinal arms and a webbed seat. The back is easily removable to create a single bed.

Upholstered using Melin Tregwynt 'Vintage Rose' Welsh tapestry fabric. This classic design is a hard wearing upholstery fabric, suitable for domestic or commercial use.

Wood - desirable blonde in colour, made of English beech, the backboard is elm, with an oil finish.

Webbing - newly strung with vintage (unused) webbing. We use the traditional Ercol loop and peg method, no staples.

Cushion Covers - hand made to order. High quality material, hand-dyed then expertly made. All covers are removable with a zip opening. Add an extra plain set for £495 HERE. 

Fabric - the design is Vintage Rose, woven in Pembrokeshire at Melin Tregwynt. High quality pure WOOL, natural and sustainable with very little environmental impact. Wool is inherently flame resistant and offers a greater level of fire safety than other fibres. 

Wash Care - machine washable, on a wool wash at 30 degrees. 

Cushion Foam - new foam pads, all our foam conforms to fire regulations.

Colours - rich, deep traditional colours. Please select a colour option. If you would like to use both sides of the design, please add a note to your order.

Dimensions - 208cm wide x 78cm deep x 88cm high. Seat 29cm high (excluding foam cushion 10/12cm), 72cm deep.

Period - 1956-c - 1985.

Origin - designed and made at Ercol, High Wycombe U.K

Restored - we restore (the wood) and make (the covers) each piece to order, in our studios. Timeframe is currently around 8-10 weeks.
