Wood - desirable blonde in colour, made of English beech, with a natural hand-waxed matt finish.
Webbing - newly strung with vintage (unused) webbing. We use the traditional Ercol loop and peg method, no staples.
Cushions Covers - hand made to order. High quality material, hand-dyed then expertly made. All covers are removable with a zip opening. Add an extra set for £150 HERE.
Fabric - densely woven pure WOOL, we use vintage blankets as fabric. Natural and sustainable with very little environmental impact. Wool is inherently flame resistant and offers a greater level of fire safety than other fibres.
Wash Care - machine washable, on a wool wash at 30 degrees.
Cushion Foam - original foam cushions. We do not replace the foam, unless absolutely necessary. New foam increases the cost price, which we would have to pass on. Then there is the question of how to dispose of the old foam, landfill being the only option. New cushion pads available at £98 per set. All our foam conforms to fire regulations.
Colour - rich, deep colours dyed by hand. Some are a solid block colour, others have a subtle colour variation, a mottled effect. Occasionally a stunning space dye/tie-dye style. These variants are noted in the colour options. As we hand-dye vintage material, each piece is unique.
