A design classic, well-made and structurally sound that will last a lifetime. Part of the Windsor Range, the 472 chair maker's chair has a solid elm seat, spindle back and classic curved arms. It comes with a removable seat cushions.

Wood - made of English beech with an elm seat. Desirable blonde in colour, with a natural hard wax/oil finish. The chair in this photo is not finished, it is bear wood to show the style.
Cushion Covers - with tabs and poppers. Removable with a zip opening.
Cushion Foam - new foam pad, all our foam conforms to fire regulations.
Fabric - densely woven pure WOOL, we use vintage blankets as fabric. Natural and sustainable with very little environmental impact. Wool is inherently flame resistant and offers a greater level of fire safety than other fibres.
Wash Care - machine washable, on a wool wash at 30 degrees.
Colours - rich, deep colours dyed by hand. Some are a solid block colour, others have a subtle colour variation, a mottled effect. Occasionally a stunning space dye/tie-dye style. These variants are noted in the colour options. As we hand-dye vintage material, each piece is unique. Please note due to the hand dyed process, there may be some slight variations in the colour. The colour on your screen may vary slightly.
Dimensions - 101cm high, 59cm wide.
Period - 1962-1987 (the 911 Chairmakers Chair is still in production today).
