Ercol Modular 747 Lounge Chair - Fully Restored - Yellow

A mid century modern design classic, well-made and structurally sound. Part of the Modular Range, Ercol's more Modernist 1970's aesthetic. This style has seat and back cushions, a slatted back, webbed seat, and is armless!

Wood - desirable blonde in colour, made of English beech, with a wax finish.

Webbing - newly strung with vintage (unused) webbing. We use the traditional Ercol loop and peg method, no staples.

Cushions Covers - made from hand-dyed vintage wool and vintage woven cotton. All covers are removable with a zip opening. Machine washable, on a wool wash at 30 degrees. Add an extra set for £115, choose your colour HERE.

Cushion Foam - original foam cushions. We do not replace the foam, unless absolutely necessary. New foam increases the cost price, which we would have to pass on. Then there is the question of how to dispose of the old foam, landfill being the only option. New cushion pads available at £68 per set. All our foam conforms to fire regulations.

Colour - blonde wood with yellow cushions - one sides is yellow/grey woven cotton, the other a mottled effect yellow.

Dimensions - length 70cm, width 60cm, height 70cm, seat depth 60cm.

Period - first introduced in the late 1960's and popular in the 1970's.
