Ercol Windsor Blonde 305 Tub Chair & Footstool - Dark Grey Merino Wool Covers

A design classic, well-made and structurally sound that will last a lifetime. Part of the Windsor Range, this style has seat and back cushions, round spinal back, solid wooden seat and classic curved arms. The footstool is webbed.

Wood - desirable blonde in colour, made of English elm or beech, with a natural hand-oiled matt finish. We use Cornish Danish oil, this is natural oil, low in toxicity.

Webbing - newly strung with vintage (unused) webbing. We use the traditional Ercol loop and peg method, no staples.

Cushions Covers - removable with a zip opening. Made from merino vintage wool, hand dyed in Cornwall using eco friendly dyes. 100% wool, totally natural and vintage meaning no environmental impact. Machine washable, on a wool wash at 30 degrees. 

Cushion Foam - original foam cushions. We do not replace the foam, unless absolutely necessary. All our foam conforms to fire regulations. New foam increases the cost price, which we would have to pass on. Then there is the question of how to dispose of the old foam, landfill being the only option.

Colour - blonde wood with dark grey mottled cushions - a lovely shadow effect.

Dimensions - length 69cm, width 70cm, height 82cm, seat depth 47cm.

Period - first introduced in the late 1960's and popular in the 1970's.
