Ercol Windsor Blonde 405 Rocking Chair - 1950's Barkcloth & Wool Covers

A classic Ercol design, well-made and structurally sound that will last a lifetime. Part of the Windsor Range, this style has seat and back cushions, round spinal back, sold seat and classic curved arms. Ercol rockers are designed to be very sturdy.

Wood - desirable blonde in colour, made of English elm or beech, with a matt finish. 

Cushions Covers - Removable with a zip opening. Made from 1950's barkcloth with a wool backing. Totally natural and vintage meaning no environmental impact. Machine washable, on a wool wash at 30 degrees. 

Cushion Foam - Original foam cushions. We do not replace the foam, unless absolutely necessary. All our foam conforms to fire regulations. New foam increases the cost price, which we would have to pass on. Then there is the question of how to dispose of the old foam, landfill being the only option.

Colour - Blonde wood with grey/yellow/black/green/blue/off-white patterned cushions. Plain off-white underside. 

Dimensions - Length 69cm, width 70cm, height 82cm, seat depth 47cm.

Period - First introduced in the late 1960's and popular in the 1970's.
